TVS Apache RTR 310 Price, Service-cost, Mileage Review

It’s Available in three variants: Arsenal black (Without Quickshifter), Arsenal black (optional) and Fury yellow. it has the same engine as we have got with the TVS Apache RR 310.

First, they placed the bike on the paddock stand and the technician removed the rear brake pad to inspect and confirm that the chain adjustment was done properly according to the service manual.

After that, they put the engine flush into the engine and start the engine for a couple of minutes so that it mixes with the engine oil and removes the carbon deposits.

After that, they removed the engine cowl to drain the engine oil. after draining the engine oil they poured 15W50 grade 1.7 litre engine oil in it which cost Rs 1750/- and they also changed the oil filter which cost Rs 348/-. which is located right below the radiator.

Besides this, they cleaned the front brake pads, cleaned the chain drive with TVS chain cleaner and then they used chain lubrication. after doing all these things they added an engine oil additive of Rs 255/-. then they have also added petrol additive of Rs 170/-.

Then they unlocked all the riding modes via computer because before the first service you had only one riding mode called Urban for engine safety reasons. and lost they washed the bike and service completed.

On the other hand, if you love to ride a bike on track you can take it and with the help of the smartXconnect app, you can collect data on your lap time, top speed, 0-100 time etc.

If you are one of those who loves to take the bike over long rides then you can use it like that because it has a comfortable riding position and you can get accessories like a saddle bag, and a tail box to carry your luggage.

Besides this TVS Apache RTR 310 has cruise control which helps to cruise comfortably without playing with the throttle too much and you can keep your hand in comfort.

so that’s why I think TVS Apache RTR 310 is worth buying.

160-162 km/h top speed with no pillion sitting behind. As we were testing the top speed of RTR 310 when the bike hit 160 km/h speed rev limiter was restricting the bike from going beyond below we have mentioned 0-100 and in-gear acceleration for you.

The first mileage test was done over the highway without a pillion he kept only one litre of petrol in the bike and he rode the bike above 90 km/h on the highway. the riding style was not aggressive he was riding the bike continuously and he got 33 km/l.

On the other hand, the second mileage test was done with a pillion and the bike was riding above 90 km/h on the open highway with less traffic and the bike delivered 31 km/l as the instrument cluster showed.

Talking about the city mileage during the test rider kept 1 litre of fuel in the tank drove the bike in the city and the speed was below 60 km/h at certain places and the bike delivered 31.2 km/l. i want to say that mileage could vary depending on riding conditions and riding style.

Know TVS has launched the naked version of the Apache RTR 310 called TVS Apache RTR 310 this bike has some unique features that you usually find in higher capacity naked bikes and it’s one of the most sexy-looking bikes I have ever seen.

This TVS Apache RTR 310 design is eye-catching and sometimes looks like the Ducati Panigale v4 streetfighter. on the other hand, its front facia looks like the KTM DUKE 250 2020 model if you look it closely.

The overall design of the bike is muscular and sharp. Besides this, the bike looks bulky from the front and sharp from the rear. and it has split seats so you sit inside the bike not above the bike like Pulsar NS 200.

So starting from the front you will get bug-eye-shaped front LED headlights with four LED chambers on each side and the lower part has LED DRLS. this headlight has a unique feature that works like that as you speed up the bike the Headlight gets brighter automatically and vice versa.

TVS Apache RTR 310 headlights work automatically according to speed and provide good visibility during night rides. but it still needs high-quality fog lights for touring at night.

Moving on to the TVS Apache RTR 310 LED turn indicators these are fully LED unit and the design of these turn indicators are similar to the BMW G 310 GS and S1000 R. look sporty and enhance the overall design and feel of the bikes and these turn indicators are not flexible one you have to be careful and it can cost you more than Rs 1000/-.

Besides this, the front mudguard is in dual tone and looks wide and sporty on the left side of the front mudguard RT LSD which defines it as Race Tuned Linear Stability Control a feature that helps the bike prevent the rear wheel from slipping during acceleration over slippery conditions.

On the other hand, another thing that makes this bike perform outstanding as well as look premium is the golden USD front forks. and these USD forks are also adjustable when you get another RTR 310.

Talking about alloy wheels in this TVS Apache RTR 310 Naked bike you will get different alloy wheels not similar to the sports bike Apche RR 310. company has designed new alloy wheels for its naked bike which are 8-spoke dual-coloured alloy wheels.

It means the front wheel is black in colour and the rear wheel is matching with the bike’s colour. now moving on to the side of the bike. you will see the petrol tank is hidden under the outer shell which is made up of some kind of fibre material.

company has tried to give it a 3d look which is why it has lots of cuts and creases. and the fuel tank has good knee space it makes you feel that you are sitting inside the bike. on the other hand, it has split seats and the rider seat is 800 mm and lower than the fuel tank level.

which helps the rider to sit comfortably and rider doesnt require a lean front to grab the handle whereas the pillion seat is positioned high and also not so comfortable for long rides. the nice thing is that TVS has provided a good amount of padding to keep the rider in comfort.

One other nice thing about the rider seat is that it can be heated and cooled as per the rider’s demand. These features you can get in the option. and this is the only bike in India that has this luxury feature.

Talking about design. the rear taillights are LED with dual strips. and unique thing about these lights is when you brake suddenly at a higher speed they flash rapidly multiple times to warn the traffic coming behind.

you have seen that usually turn indicators remain attached below the rear seat along with the licence plate. but the thing is different here. Indicators and Licence plates are attached to the rear tyre hugger just like the Ducati Diavel.

Besides this, this bike comes fitted with a well-designed saree guard that protects female pillion riders from injury. on the other, it has an open chain set cover which means you need to take care of the chain frequently because the open exposed chain catches rust and dirt faster than a closed one.

The exhaust design and enngine are the same as the RR310 no change and it has 180 mm ground clearance. One thing I forgot to mention is that from the base model of Apache Rtr 310, you will get ride-by-wire, adjustable levers and cruise control.

This Instrument cluster lets you control various features and modes of the bike like Traction control, cruise control, Headlight brightness & music from your device connected via Bluetooth. Besides this just like the other Apache RTR it has smart connect which records all the race data like Lap time, top speed etc.

Besides this, TVS Apache RTR 310 5-riding modes consist of Urban, Rain, Sport, Track and Super Moto modes. this TFT display is controlled via buttons provided on the left switch gear cluster. and if you want to know how to use the features then you can see the video we have shown here on the top.

On the other hand, you will get a tube-type handlebar here which is made up of steel. the seat of this bike is low and the handlebar is high so you sit over it with a straight back position which means longer rides can be done over it easily.

Talking about the switch gear cluster on the left side you will get a passing button that controls high/low beam and passing features, and a cruise control button is there to control the cruising speed of the bike on the go. next to it, there is a hazard button to blink all four indicator glow at the same time.

Besides this, as you can see in the images it has four buttons which have an up/down button, a return and enter button to scroll the display, and you also have a horn and turn indicator button here.

whereas on the right side switch gear cluster you will get the engine kill switch only.

and in case you are a short-height guy like 5’5″ or low then you may feel difficulty handling it considering its size. on the other hand with the top model TVS Apache RTR 310 Dynamic Pro, you will get a climatic control seat.

It means you can control how much heat/cold you want your seat and its climate can be adjusted up to three levels. but I will suggest you get a regular seat because it has better padding than the climatic seat.

Talking about the pillion seat is quite small and only suitable for short rides although the padding of a pillion seat is descent but is a small seat. and the pillion seat can be removed by inserting a key into the key slot you have very little space there and you can store your first aid kit, and a couple of tools.

These tyres are engineered with next-generation compound and feature Michelin-patented ACT+ technology these tyres provide superior grip for cornering and offer a premium bike feel.

Besides these brakes, you will get disc brakes by Brembo front and rear with ABS. On the other hand suspension KYB adjustable monoshocker rear and front you will get 41 mm folder USD forks. these suspensions absorb bumps efficiently and give you the confidence to ride fast.

This engine develops 35.6 PS power in the sports and track modes and 28.7 nm max torque. Besides this you can choose up to 5 riding modes like Sports, Track, Supermoto, Urban and rain modes and as you select the modes the TFT theme also change to maximise your interest.

This bike is a multi-purpose bike as we think because you can use this naked bike on the highway, in the city, touring and on the race track.

This bike has a powerful engine and a comfortable riding position these things make this bike suitable for highway ride beside this it has cruise control so if you are covering long distances you dont need to play with the throttle repedetly. we personally like this feature.

Besides this, TVS has added a a technology called the GTT (Glide Through Technology) which enables the bike to move forward up to a certain speed without any throttle input. like if you are riding in the city just level the clutch a bit and your bike will start moving automatically you can do this up to 5-6 gear. but it works smoothly up to 4 gears.

On the other hand, if you are one of those who love to ride the bike on the race track you have the dynamic and dynamic pro kit which gives you adjustable front USD forks, cornering ABS, Tyre pressure monitoring, wheelie control etc also with the help of smart XConnect you can see your lap time, 0-100 speed and much more.

On the other hand, if you love touring over bikes then the company is offering some accessories with this bike that help you during the ride like climate control seats, saddle bag, top box, USB charger etc.

The ride of this bike is smooth as this is a bike designed for high speed you can ride in this bike in the city in the higher gear at low bike dont get bothered with it. it’s easy to control but if you are bigger you need to be careful.

This bike is equipped with a slipper clutch which makes the the clutch pull easy and smooth. this bike has 180 mm ground clearance so you dont need to worry about the speed breakers. besides this, the thing I dont like is the lean is low so if you are leaning this bike over the corners your footrest easily scrapes on to the road.

This bike has a water radiator upfront which keeps the engine cool but when you are riding in the city and wearing shorts that hot engine air could make you feel uncomfortable. the overall bike performance is good.
