Jeep Meridian 2024 New Price, Images & Review.

This engine is capable of taking this SUV up to 200 km/h easily and we have seen that The top speed of the Jeep Meridian is 200+ km/h which can’t be considered slow.

It has LED lights, a sunroof, premium exterior design. Besides this its fit and finish are great. and when you enter the car jeep Meridian offers you a genuine leather interior.

You will get 8-way powered seats, memory seating function, and seat ventilation. and you also get AC cooling for the third row and second row as well.

You have a large touch screen and a 9-speaker alpine sound system to entertain you.

it comes with only one 170 PS power diesel engine which comes with 6MT and 9AT. and you can also select 4wd or 2wd models. driving quality is great and you will be comfortable over long journeys.

Besides this, you can take this car off-road if necessary you have different kinds of off-road modes like sand, mud and road. so it’s a really comfortable and capable SUV if you are planning to buy it.

Whereas with the 4X4 Jeep Meridian power is transferred to all four wheels. and you will get a 4wd low ratio and 4wd lock for extreme off-roading conditions.

Jeep is currently offering Meridian in two options Limited and Overland both the models are available in 2WD and 4X4 systems.

Both the models Jeep Meridian and Meridian Overland come with a sunroof.

2.0 multijet, 4-cylinder diesel engine which develops 170 Hp and 350 Nm torque. Besides this, you also have an option of selecting a 5-speed MT and 9-speed AT gearbox. you dont have any petrol engine option here.

and both the models are available with the 4X4 and 4X2 models.

And its quality is great. I mean the quality of the international market Jeep Meridian is similar to the Jeep we are getting in the Indian market. this SUV is loaded with features so let’s start from the front. We have a seven-slot grille with chrome treatment.

The front facia of the car is tall and wide due to this Jeep Meridian 2024 has a low approach angle which limits the off-road capabilities. moving on to automatic LED projector headlights along with the DRLs which look premium these headlights throw light over the road efficiently and give you confidence to drive at night.

Besides this, the lower part of the bumper is fitted with LED cornering fog lights which light up the road left and right when you turn the steering wheel. on the other hand, the upper and lower parts of the bumper have two large grilles to keep the engine cool with oncoming air.

front facia looks premium and Jeep has added chrome strips on the middle and lower part of the bumper to make it look more premium. on the other hand, the bonnet of the car has u shaped cavity to make this Jeep SUV look sporty.

One more thing you will not find any sharp curves and creases through the exterior of the jeep meridian like we do over the Toyota fortuner and Tata Harrier. and I think the Jeep Meridian looks like an MPV rather than an SUV.

Now moving on the side of the Jeep Meridian 4X4 you have a 4769 mm longer wheelbase. and its side profile is plane again you dont see any curves here. but the company has provided side body cladding.

if you dont know what is side cladding in the SUV? so cladding is an extra plastic body panel that is added onto the lower part of the car to protect the SUV from minor scratches during off-roading. here in the Jeep Meridian 2024 body cladding is provided in black colour instead of body colour.

Now first let’s talk about wheels here in this limited (O) 4X4 model you will get R18 dual-tone diamond cut alloy wheels that look sporty and trapezoidal wheel arches along with wheel enhancing its off-road personality.

Besides this, here in the limited Jeep Meridian, 2024 comes with black colour Outer Rear View Mirrors. these mirrors are electrically adjustable and foldable. and these mirrors are integrated with LED turn indicators.

On the other hand, you will get body-colour doors handle with request sensors and this SUV comes with a dual-tone roof with all the colours.

Moving on the rear, it has LED taillights and there is a chrome strip on the tailgate connecting both taillights it has a Jeep badge,

On the lower part of the tailgate, you will get 4X4 badging on the left and Meridian on the right side and you will get a powered tailgate here. besides this, you will get a large panoramic sunroof here, wipers and a defogger.

How to open Jeep Meridian Powered Tailgate?

To open the powered tailgate a dedicated button is provided on the key fob press that button twice and your tailgate will open on its own.

and to close the tailgate a button is provided inside the boot on the right side just press that button and your tailgate will close on its own.

and we have seen that there are a couple of SUVs in the Indian market that are more expensive than Jeep but don’t have that kind of interior.

Like for example Toyota Fortuner, Ford endeavour, Mitsubishi Pajero etc doesnt feel premium like that and costs more than the Jeep. jeep has used genuine leather to craft the seats but also used the leather over the door panels and dashboard panels.

The dashboard has a layer design and leather is used to make it look more premium. Besides this dashboard plastic feels soft and you can see the stitching throughout the dashboard. on the other hand, the dashboard has a curved design that’s why it looks more appealing.

So moving on to the driver’s side you have a leather-wrapped power steering with mounted controls on the left side you have phone and instrument cluster buttons and on the right side of the steering, you have cruise control buttons.

This Steering is adjustable and to adjust it you have provided a knob below the steering. Behind the steering, you have two sticks. On the left side stick you can control the indicator and lights and on the right side you have wiper controls.

Moving on to the speedometer you have a 10 fully digital speedometer that shows lots of information about this SUV. Besides this, on the left side of the steering over the dashboard, you have a push start/stop button.

and on the extreme right side of the dashboard, some headlight and fog light controls are provided. and in the middle of the dash, there is a large touchscreen that supports Android Auto and Apple car play. Besides this Jeep Meridian 2024 comes with Alpine 9 speakers.

Below the touch screen, you have automatic dual-zone Air conditioning controls and volume controls for the music system. below A/C controls you have a space for wireless charging and USB slots for phone charging.

Now moving on to the centre console, the centre console carries a Gearknob, off-road control buttons and a sliding armrest with storage and you also have two cup holders here. is treated with genuine brown leather, black piano finish material and soft-touch plastic.

Talking about seats Jeep Meridian 2024 has brown colour leather seats which look and feel comfortable. the front seats we have here are 8-way powered adjustable with seat ventilation and memory functions for both the driver and co-driver.

Moving on to second-row seats you have ample legroom and headroom here. the second row has a 60:40 split function and can be folded. Besides this, you also get an armrest with two cup holders. for the second row, you get rear AC vents and a charging port.

Whereas the third row is not comfortable and is best suited for kids or you can fold them to get more luggage space. that’s all about the interiors of Jeep Meridian 2024 and the rest of the things you can see in the images we have shown.

Like when you see the Jeep Meridian overland you will get the same front 7-slot grill but the change is you will get it with a chrome treatment. Besides this, a camera is also mounted on the front grille of the car.

Headlights and Cornering fog lights are also the same here, but you will get body colour cladding here whereas in the Meridian Limited model, cladding comes in black colour.

one more thing, the jeep SUVs look premium from all angles but these SUV are not look like they are designed for off-roading like the Fortuner and the Endeavour. due to this few people buy this car. if you see the Toyota Fortuner they look aggressive, and sporty ready to go any terrain.

Talking about other features of Jeep Meridian it has rain-sensing front wipers, a Jeep logo on the bonnet, and a dual-plane sunroof.

Now moving on the side of the Jeep Meridian 2024 overland it has a similar design to the limited model but you will get body color cladding here. by getting body colour bumpers and cladding SUVs that look and feel premium.

On the other hand, if you compare Toyota fortuner with the Jeep Meridian. The fortuner looks way more sporty and stylish than the Jeep. on the other hand jeeps trapezoidal wheel arcs and R18 dual-tone alloy wheels make this SUV look a bit sporty.

Moving on to the rear you will get a rear spoiler and shark fin antenna additionally, whereas the rear wipers, LED taillights, camera and defogger remain the same as the Meridian Limited O model.

Jeep looks cool but on the other hand, if we see the Tata Safari and the fortuner. these SUV look like what an SUV should look. SUVs should look tall, and wide from every angle. whereas the Jeep Meridian is a more road-biased SUV.

Although you can take this Car on any terrain its low approach and departure angle limit its off-roading capabilities. here we have shown some images of Jeep Meridian Overland you can see them.

One thing I really like about the interiors of the Jeep Meridian. is that the quality, design and finishing levels are excellent. when I first saw the interiors the only thing that came to my mind was that even most selling SUV Toyota Fortuner and endeavour doesn’t get that many premium interiors.

Fortuner feels completely outdated from the inside when we compare its interior with the Jeep interior. Talking about seats we have genuine leather seats here, whereas the front seats are ventilated and 8-way power-adjustable.

and we also have a memory setting function here in the Jeep. moving on to the second row we have 60:40 split seats with the tumble fold feature. and the second row gets the armrest with two cup holders. beside this for the second-row passengers.

Air Conditioning vents are provided and you also have USB ports for charging purposes. on the other hand in the third row, you will get less space. and you can not spread your legs easily here because of insufficient leg space.

It’s better to use them as luggage by folding them. on the other hand, Jeep has provided AC vents on the roof for the last row passengers.

Jeep Meridian 2024 has two transmission options which are 6-speed MT and 9-speed AT. Besides this, you can get 4X4 and 4X2 as an option.

If you compare Jeep Meridian with other SUVs like Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour you may feel that it has less power and torque. the real thing is this SUV is designed for relaxed driving and you can drive it in the city as well without any problem.

This SUV has a good commanding driving position and cabin insulation is great I mean you can’t hear the tyre and other noises when you close the window during driving. this SUV is built on a monocoque chassis so it’s easy to handle it in the city or on the highway.

This car has good stability on the road and you can drive it up to 200+ km/h easily. Don’t forget this case a 9-speed AT transmission system. taking about suspension it has Mcpherson suspension up front and multilink at the rear.

This SUV feels smooth during driving and absorbs bumps efficiently and most of the time you don’t feel the bumps. driving quality is great.

Jeep Meridian is equipped with off-road tools which helps this SUV to do all kinds of off-roading stuff it has driving modes SAND/MUD/SNOW and AUTO. Besides this, you also have a 4WD low and 4WD diff lock for extreme off-road conditions.

Jeep Meridian 2024 is not designed for extreme off-road conditions because it has a low 20-degree approach and 22-degree departure angle. so these dimensions are not suitable for off-road. on the other hand, Toyota Fortuner which has a high approach and departure angle is designed for off-road.

But I am not saying that Jeep is not a capable SUV but it’s primarily designed for comfortable and smooth driving, this SUV is stable at high speed and it’s easy to manoeuvre and easy to handle. it’s great for light off-roading.

On the other hand, it offers a great interior which even Toyota Fortuner doesn’t get. Jeep Meridian is an expensive SUV but it’s a great product.
