Mahindra Scorpio S3 Plus Exterior

• Scorpio S3 Plus is the base model with fewer features that make It an affordable SUV.
• So in this base S3 variant, you will not get a body-colour bumper front and rear.
• Also, the side cladding and wheel arc cladding remain unpainted.

• On the other hand door handles & ORVMs also remain unpainted.
• I prefer unpainted bumpers because scratches can’t be seen clearly on those bumpers.
• On the other hand, Scorpio’s seven-slot grille comes with a black colour finish on the base model.

• Talking about headlights Mahindra is offering regular halogen-equipped headlights.
• And No LED eyebrow DRLs come with this base variant & no static bending feature is available with it.
• Moving on to the rear you will get LED Taillights and a high-mount stop lamp bulb equipped.

• Apart from that a Ski rack, spoiler, fog lamps, & footrest are not available with the Scorpio S3 Plus.

• Just like the exterior the interior also looks simple and basic.
• Mahindra is offering basic but useful features with the Scorpio S3 plus variant.
• When you will open the door you will find no premium design inside the door panels.

• Apart from that S3 variants also get black and grey interiors.
• This base model doesn’t get audio and cruise controls on the steering wheel.
• And not come leather-wrapped but the steering can be adjustable tilt-wise.

• Behind the steering, you will get wipers and light controls, and an analog speedometer with a MID display.
• On the driver’s side, it has a remote fuel lid opening button and a headlight levelling button.
• In this base variant, Air conditioning vents don’t come with a chrome finish.

• And A.C is manual with heating and ventilation nice thing is A.C vents are also available for passengers.
• In this S3 plus variant, a power window switch is present on the centre console.
• And on the centre console, you will not get large cup holders.

• Talking about seats you will get made up of vinyl material.
• Fronts seats are manually adjustable and have no height-adjustable features.
• And the rear seats have a good amount of headroom and legroom.

• And the third row is best suited to kids or short-height guys and these seats can be folded to increase boot space.
• S3 Plus comes with 7-side-facing seats and 9- side-facing seats.

Mahindra Scorpio S3 Performance & Mileage

• Now even in the base model, Mahindra is offering a powerful engine.
• When I was on the training in Mahindra automobile Scorpio base model used to come with the m2DiCR engine.
• This engine is using by the Mahindra Bolero around 2015 when the first facelift.
• But Mahindra is offering a 2179 cc, 4-stroke, water-cooled engine.

• That develops 120 horsepower and 280 nm of torque and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
• This is a mHawk engine that features a Common Rail Direct Injection & Turbocharger with an intercooler.
• The intercooler is directly mounted over the engine which why is a hood scoop is designed over the bonnet.

• The thing I like about Mahindra Scorpio is it’s still Rear-wheel drive and supported over a ladder frame.
• Now talking about its mileage Scorpio S3’s mileage is 15 kmpl on the highway and around 9 kmpl in the city.
• And a top speed of the Scorpio S3 remains the same at 165 kmph.

• Mahindra Scorpio S5 Mileage is 15 kmpl only the diesel engine option is available.

• Those who are looking for a powerful and spacious rear-wheel-drive suv.
• Then this car is for you that offers dual airbags, ABS, and a commanding view from the inside.
• Scorpio S3 price starts from Rs 13,30,288/- lakh and EMI starts from Rs 21,408/-.
• Apart from that Mahindra S3 interior looks decent and offers lots of space.

Mahindra Scorpio (S3) model discontinued

• In 2022 customers will only get S3 plus model.
• Because the Scorpio (S3) model is discontinued because of some reason.
• it came with a bolero engine m2Dicr 75 hp and 200 nm torque engine.
• But S3 plus variant gets a new powerful 120 hp engine with 280 nm torque.
