Q Is the Bolero Neo a family car?
Yes, the Bolero Neo is a family car because it has enough space inside to fit two 7-peoples and if you fold the rear seats then Read More
you can fit more luggage. it looks boxy from the outside but believe me, this boxy look gives ample space inside and it also has good legroom and headroom.
and an ideal family car requires a spacious cabin which Bolero Neo is offering. if you want to buy it for your family it’s a really great car.
Is Mahindra Bolero Neo 4×4?
Well, Mahindra Bolero Neo is not a 4X4 or a four-wheel drive car. but Mahindra has added a technology that is generally used in a Read More
4X4 SUV which is a locking differential. this technology is provided in Bolero Neo with the name MTT (Multi-Terrain Technology) and let’s see how it works.
Bolero Neo is a rear-wheel drive SUV and usually what happens when one of the wheels gets stuck in mud or slush and another wheel remains on the road.
In this condition, the differential sends power to the wheel which has less traction and the car doesnt come out of that situation on its own. so locking differential or MTT technology looks both wheels together and transfers equal power to both wheels to tackle that situation.
Is Bolero Neo good for hills?
Yes, definitely In fact I must say that Bolero Neo is designed for diving on hills. why I am saying this because this SUV is supported by a ladder frame which means it has more strength to absorb bumps Read More
On the other hand, it’s a powerful diesel engine of 100 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque which means to climb a hill you need to just release the clutch a bit and the car will start moving automatically due to low-end torque.
This thing really helps drivers to drive on the hilly roads. we are sharing a story of the owner when they took their Mahindra Bolero Neo to Uttarakhand and they said this SUV is much more capable than you think.
Dont just go over its boxy design it’s developed to give you a real SUV feel. On more thing, they said this SUV comes with MTT (Multi-Terrain Technology) which makes this car more capable while driving over hills.
Let me explain how this SUV is so capable. Normally rear-wheel drive cars come with an open differential engine in case you dont know what is differential? so let me explain it in short it’s a machine that transfers the power of the engine to the wheels.
and also makes both rotate at different speeds. so usually what happens when one of the wheels gets stuck in mud or sand and another wheel remains on the solid surface differential sends all the power to the wheel which is stuck in the mud.
and the wheel which is on a solid surface or on the road will not move. so the company has added a locking mechanism to the rear differential which automatically locks both the rear wheels due to this differential sending equal power to both wheels.
This SUV can come out of this tricky situation on its own and this system really makes this SUV for the hilly areas. and believe me, it really dives on the steepy claims effortlessly.
On the other hand, this SUV has larger windows and a windscreen which gives you a great view of the outside and it has a long flat bonnet which is fully visible from the inside so if you dont have enough experience of driving hilly areas this car helps you to manoeuvre on narrow roads.
