Mahindra Scorpio N “4XPLOR” All-New SUV gets a 1991 cc turbo petrol and 2184 cc turbo diesel engine.

What’s new in the Mahindra Scorpio N?

Actually, Mahindra has developed this car from scratch. it means this new 2022 scorpio N 4Xplor had not shared any parts from the Scorpio classic SUV. on the other hand company has added a new four-wheel drive system to it that makes this car more off-road capable machine just like XUV 700 it also has new modern luxury features.

But Mahindra said we are not going to discontinue our old model Scorpio although the company has refreshed the design of the old Scorpio from outside and inside.

# Mahindra Scorpio N 2022 review

• As we know that Mahindra XUV 700 was launched recently and it was completely new in terms of design.
• but now Mahindra and Mahindra have launched an All-new Scorpio and the company said we haven’t used any part from the old Scorpio.
• besides this, when I saw the new Scorpio N I didn’t like its design because the exterior design still offers a boxy look.
• I am not a big fan of boxy look car I mean look at the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari these SUV looks much better than Mahindra Cars.

• Mahindra Scorpio N looks larger from the outside and some design elements of older Scorpio can be seen on it.
• one more thing you might be thinking of Mahindra is going to discontinue the old model Scorpio well no.
• Rather than discontinuing the old Mahindra Scorpio company has tried to give it a fresh look with some cosmetic changes.
• so let’s talk about our Scorpio I would like to start from the front because it reminds you of the old model Scorpio.
• the bonnet is high and looks larger and there are 6-slots on the front grill followed by the twin beaks Mahindra logo at the center.

• These new headlights are called Double Barrel Headlights each headlight features a Projector and reflector-type illumination system.
• besides this, instead of placing LED DRLS with the headlights, DRLs can be seen on the lower bumper with LED fog lamps.
• the front bumper looks muscular and on its side portion, there is a large opening to cool the water radiator.
• and just like the previous Scorpio S11 have a scoop on the top of the bonnet you will not find any scoop over the bonnet.
• now moving to the side of the vehicle you will notice a new set of Diamond cut alloy wheels that look really fantastic and looks bigger.

• with the Automatic model R18 255/60 Diamond cut wheels available & with manual R17 245/65 steel wheels available.
• as I said new Scorpio N has a completely new design the side profile is completely new with large and the side cladding is all new.
• Now moving on to ORVMS on the top model they come with electronically adjustable integrated with LED turn indicators.
• when I see the overall design it doesn’t seem aerodynamic from any angle that’s why I like the Tata and Toyota SUVs.
• Tata harrier and tata Safari look much better in design when I compared them to Mahindra XUV 700.
• but I am not saying that this All-new Scorpio is not good the only thing I didn’t like is its overall exterior design.

• now have look at the rear of Scorpio N and compare it with any other Tata SUV off course it doesn’t look attractive.
• and when I saw this new Scorpio for the first time it led Taillights reminds me of Volvo XC60 taillights.
• again tailgate opens sidewise and the company said it’s a designed element of the old Scorpio.

• now all the images I have used consist of the right view, front view, rear view, and quarter view.
• And the images you are seeing in this article show Red Rage color, Napoli Black, and Everest white color.
• A total of seven colors the customer is going to get and all these colors are currently available on Mahindra Thar LX/AX models.
• these colors are Dazzling Silver, Deep Forest, Grand Canyon, Everest White, Red Rage, Napoli Black, and Royal Gold.
• among all six colors, I like the Mahindra Scorpio Black Color and Royal gold color because these colors suit the style of this SUV.

Mahindra Scorpio N Colors

• I am really happy to see a variety of colors offered by Mahindra and I think everyone loves color.
• company is offering currently seven colors and all these colors are also available with the new Mahindra Thar.
• these colors are Dazzling Silver, Deep Forest, Grand Canyon, Everest White, Red Rage, Napoli black & Royal Gold.
• among all these colors I guess the majority of people will love Napoli Black and Everest white.

Mahindra Scorpio N Interior

• as I said at the start of this blog I am not impressed with the exterior design of the new Scorpio N.
• But I am really impressed with the interior and features of this car and I am sure people will love it.
• so I will focus on each and every detail of this SUV interior and I will tell you what exactly I think about it.
• before getting inside the car I need to say Scorpio N is high from the ground so you need more effort to jump inside the car.
• but don’t worry there is a grab handle on A-pillar inside the car and a footrest will help you minimize your effort.

• As I opened the door if found rich coffee and a black interior that not only feels premium but also relaxes your mind.
• besides this, on the driver-side door, I found a power windows switch, ORVM control, speaker, bottle holder, and some leather treatment.
• After that I sat in the driver’s seat I felt comfortable and I was getting a commanding view from inside and I was able to the entire bonnet clearly.
• another thing I saw was the front seats were electrically powered and can be adjusted to 6-way but it’s available on top model Scorpio Z8.

• Now it’s natural when you sit inside any car you will definitely place your hand on the steering and on the gear knob.
• I found the steering wheel of the new Scorpio N was exactly the same as we get in the Mahindra XUV 700 with some mounted controls.
• Apart from that company told us that on Petrol Variant Z6/Z8/Z4 customers will get electric power steering and with the Diesel variant hydraulic power steering.
• behind the steering, there is an analog speedometer and tachometer and between them, there is a MID that shows plenty of information about the car.

• now on the thing, I have noticed that Scorpio N interiors are pretty much the same as the Mahindra Alturas G4 SUV.
• After that, I saw the center of that dashboard where I found a 20.32 cm infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB.
• Mahindra said that a total of 12 speakers are placed at different places in the car to give customers a better sound experience.
• Now both side of the Touch Screen there is two vertical A.C. vents along with some metal treatment around it enhancing the premium look of the car.

• below the touch screen, I saw Dual-Zone Automatic A.C control, infotainment control, and some useful feature activating buttons.
• one great thing about the Mahindra Scorpio N is its got a wireless phone charger, and USB ports to keep your gadget charged throughout your journey.
• and one thing I forgot to mention is for the rear passenger A.C vents and laptop chargers with USB charging are provided.

• Besides this, on the center console, Gearknob and 4WD control is provided, and right behind it, there is armrest storage.
• now I moved to the second row I sat on it and second-row seats were also good enough to keep you in comfort throughout the company.
• and second-row seats are also available on the caption seat option you can get seats as per your usage.

• one thing I don’t like about SUVs is their third-row seats in this SUV condition remain the same and the third row is suitable for kids.
• talking about safety Scorpio N is equipped with a 6-airbag which means you remain safe through your journey.

Mahindra Scorpio N Stallion Petrol Engine

• we are getting the same petrol and diesel engine in the Scorpio n as we got in Mahindra Thar LX.
• both engines perform well on the highway and in the city with a smooth driving experience.
• so first let’s talk about the petrol engine 2L engine develops 200 Horsepower and 370 NM torque with (MT) & 380 NM with (AT).
• this petrol engine is mated with a 6-speed Manual transmission and 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission.
• the engine offers good performance on the highway and in the city and the nice thing about this engine is it has a turbocharger.

mHawk Diesel Engine

• this diesel engine is also the same as we get in the Mahindra Thar LX & AX option model.
• The diesel is a 2.2L unit liquid-cooled, four-stroke, four-cylinder DOHC turbocharged intercooler.
• its 2184 cc engine develops 130 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque and the second one is a 172 HP engine that develops 370 NM to 400 Nm of torque.
• this 170-horsepower diesel engine offers great pulling power and you would not feel any lack of power in any situation.
• and I would like to choose this 170 HP diesel engine if I will buy this car this engine really feels punched and less engine clatter can be felt inside the car.

Mahindra Scorpio N Mileage

• at this point in time when this Scorpio N is just launched mileage figures are not revealed by the Mahindra.
• but I can say people can expect 12 kmpl mileage with the petrol engine.

My opinion.

• because Scorpio N is just launching I can’t say anything about this car.
• but one thing I can say is it’s going to be popular because it’s using Scorpio’s name.
• and also offers a four-wheel drive system.
