• Currently, Mahindra has launched its All-new Scorpio N with a completely new design and features.
• And They have updated their old Scorpio and then the name of the old Scorpio now becomes Scorpio classic N.
• And the model you are seeing in the images is the second Top Model Scorpio S9 & it’s discontinued.
• Mahindra Scorpio is a very famous car since it was launched.
• And it’s especially popular among the politicians of India.
• It’s because Mahindra Scorpio looks sporty and tough from the outside.

• But there is another car designed to compete with the Scorpio its Tata Safari Dicor.
• That offers good off-road capabilities and both Scorpio and safari were available with a 4WD system.
• Mahindra is working on a new Mahindra Scorpio 2022 next-generation model.

• But that model is currently in the developing phase we can’t say anything about it now.
• This new Mahindra Scorpio S9 variant is a Scorpio top model that offers good features.
• In the Scorpio “S9” Variant we get the body-colored bumper and side cladding.

• Also, door handles and outside mirrors come painted with body color.

• The black and grey interior theme is the same across all the variants of Scorpio.
• Mahindra Scorpio’s interior from 2016 onwards improves as compared to the 2010 Scorpio.
• But still, it needs improvement, and the fit and finish are acceptable and better than Tata Safari Varicor.

• As you will open the door you will find power window switches on the window.
• And on the right side of the steering ORVM adjustment knob, a remote fuel lid opener and light leveling switch can be found.
• Moving on the steering comes with Audio and cruise control buttons.
• And behind the steering wheel, you will get an analog speedometer with MID.

• Apart from that on the dashboard, Scorpio S9 gets A.C vents with chrome surround.
• In addition to A.C, the S9 variant comes with fully automatic temperature control.
• Also for the rear passenger Air conditioning vents are available.

• The nice thing about this S9 model is it has an 18 cm touch screen with Bluetooth/ USB & Aux.
• Now moving on to center control you do get two large cup holders and a parking brake lever.
• And the gear knob is wrapped with faux leather and a rubber pad to place the mobile phone.

• Other features like roof lamps, puddle lamps, remote central locking, and sunglass holder come with the S9 model.
• Speaking about Mahindra Scorpio Seats the S9 model comes with ivory-white faux leather.

• The front seats are manually adjustable and the driver seat is height adjustable.
• And second-row seats are nice and comfortable and can be folded down.

• Moving on to the third row has two side-facing seats with less legroom and headroom.

• Recently Mahindra upgraded its old and very famous SUV called Mahindra Scorpio.
• Actually, Mahindra was developing an all-new SUV and in 2022 they launched The new Mahindra Scorpio N.
• But people were thinking that Mahindra may discontinue their favorite Scorpio.
• So Mahindra has decided to add some cosmetic changes to the old model Scorpio and it becomes Mahindra Scorpio Classic.
• Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets some new features and visually it looks the same as before.

• One more thing Mahindra has discontinued some of the Scorpio models like S3, S5, S9, etc.

• Personally, I like this Scorpio Classic because now it has some new exciting colors and new set of Alloy wheels.
• Starting from the front I will tell you everything about this top-model Scorpio.
• The headlight of the Scorpio is exactly the same as before the projector type with LED eyebrow DRLS with cornering functions.
• Below the headlight new LED Day TIme Running lights provided to increase visibility at low light situation.
• This LED DRLS was not present with the 2021 model mahindra scorpio top mode.
• Beside this, mahindra have made some changes to the front grill and the mahindra LOGO.
• This new imposing 6-slots front grill looks more aggressiv and bold than before & added chrome to it adds premium look.

• Ont thing that mahindra changed in the Scorpio is the hood scoop that is not fuctional now.
• Because on the previous scorpio there was a Turbo-Intercooler underneathe the scoop.
• And that scoop is used to cool the intercooler but the engine is completely new.
• One more thing its the identity of the scorpio and people loved it that why company didnt removed that.
• Now lets move on to side and see what else has changed and how it looks now.
• when you look at the mahindra scorpio from side it will looks the same except the Alloy wheel and side cladding.
• I like this new design of diamond cut alloy wheel personally & they have changed the appearance of the car completey.
• Mahindra have added new 235/65 R17 Diamond Cut Alloy wheels looks much better than before.
• Beside this, new cladding have added to the car with scorpio branding to it.
• And the rest of the design is amost the same and it looks much better than before.
• I have forgot to mention that this time mahindra have added five new colors to the scorpio.
• these colors are D’Sat Silver, Galaxy Grey, Napoli black, Pearl White & Red Rage.
• Among all those colors i like the Red Rage and napoli black the most.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic Interior

• Just like outside the inside hasn’t much changed except interior color and a couple of features.
• when you sit inside you will find the the design of the dashboard and seat is exactly the same.
• But on the previous model the the interior colour was dual tone Black and grey.
• This time it looks more premium because mahindra have added new dual tone beige & black interiors.
• And i personally like this beige color because it looks more premium and upmarket then before.

• The dashboard layout is exactly same as before now change same steering wheel and instrument cluster.
• The center consol of dshboard is same but this time bigger 22.86 cm infotainment system with phone mirroring have added.
• But unfortunately this time also no Android Auto & AppleCar Play have added to make customer happy.
• Moving down slightly for customer convienance fully Automatic AC have provided.
• Talking About seats they are nice and comfortable but not much because it still lack under thigh support.
• Beside this, scond row seats can foldable to make more room inside the car.
• So thats all about the interior of the new mahindra scorpio classis.

New mHawk 130HP Engine

• Mahindra have installed new mHawk 4-Cylinders, 4-valves VGT Tubo Common Rail engine.
• This is 2184cc develops 130 hp which is 10 Hp less than before & 300 Nm of torque.
• And six-speed gearbox is coupled with the engine to transfer the power to rear wheel.
• This time gear shift becomes more prescise because mahindra have used cables to shift the gear.
• Speaking of performace it delivers the power in leaner manner and 70 percent of torque is available as low as 1000 RPM.
• And its the rear different engine as we have seen in the older 2021 scorpio.
• One thing i alway like about scorpio that when you accelerate this you dont feel any turbo-lag.
• Now you might be thinking about mileage figures it gives 13.58 kmpl of mileage on mixed driving condition.
• Talking about suspension up front it have double wish-bone type independent suspension.
• And rear it have multi link coil spring suspension with anti roll bar.
• The performce of suspension is great and you drive this SUV easily without worryiing at high speed.

• Mahindra is offering one engine 2179 cc option with the S9 variant.
• You will get a mHawk 4-cylinder engine with a VGT turbocharger & intercooler.
• This engine has common rail direct injection technology and four valves.
• This 2179 cc engine develops 140 hp and 320 Nm torque & mated with 6-speed manual transmission.
• Talking about its mileage Scorpio S9 Mileage is 16.36 kmpl on the highway & near 9 kmpl in the city.
• Mahindra Scorpio is only available with 6 & 5-speed manual transmissions.
• And power is transmitted to the rear wheel via the driveshaft and differential.
• Scorpio was available in a four-wheel-drive system but Mahindra has discontinued that model.
• Now Mahindra Scorpio S9 top speed is 165 kmph & Mahindra Scorpio S9’s fuel tank capacity is 60 liters.

My opinion about Mahindra Scorpio

• Yes, Mahindra Scorpio is now getting older but still, it’s one of the largest-selling SUVs.
• Mahindra have discontinued the older variant of scopio like S3, S5, S9 & S10.
• you will only get Mahindra Scorpio S (Base Model) & Scorpio S11 (Top-Model).
• Comapany have added new interior color and exterior design element.
• Its definitly worth buying Scorpio top model.
