Koenigsegg Gemera 1st Production Model Released.

First, let me tell you the meaning of the car Gemera. It’s. a combination of the two Swedish words Ge (Give) and Mera (More).

And this gives more means you can seat more passenger and can accommodate more luggage and the engine produce more power compared to any car.

Besides this, this car is made up of carbon-fiber material completely even the wheels are made up of carbon to keep the weight minimum.

Because a light weighs car accelerates faster. the whole body parts are attached to a lightweight carbon monocoque without B-pillar.

This Monocoque structure provides strength and stiffness to the car & Koenigsegg removed the B-pillar because they wanted to attach two large doors.

When you look at the car you will see that instead of four doors it has only two-door that open the same as the Koenigsegg cars like Regera & Agera.

Furthermore, this gemera has enough space for four adults & they can sit inside it comfortably and can stretch their legs without any problem.

The second thing about its design is you will not see any sharp lines cuts & creases over the car only smooth round curves are there to make the car as slippery as possible.

The front of the car has two splitters on each side to generate downforce & a front large grill to cool the engine & air conditioner radiators.

In addition to air vents, when you closer to the headlights you will find vents below the headlights these vents supply air to cool the front disc.

Just like the front, you will also find some air vents at the rear bumper and on the side of the car to cool additional intercoolers and radiators.

Now speaking about the design the Koenigsegg Gemera genuinely looks like other Koenigsegg cars upfront you will get full lead lights.

And I think these headlights are developed in-house and a helmet visor-like windscreen gives a good view of the outside and looks unique.

Now as you move to the side of the car you will find a single large door on both sides and believe me these doors are huge in size nearly six feet.

Another exciting thing about this door are they open automatically via pressing the button on the key with the help of hydraulics.

And you don’t get any door-opening handles either inside the car at the place of door handles dedicated door-opening buttons have provided on the roof of the car as you can see in the images.

And when it comes to side view mirrors I have seen a camera at the place of ORVM on the concept car and on the production car, you will get auto folding ORVMs.

Moving to the rear of the car you will tiny glass that is covering the engine behind the engine Koenigsegg let space for the luggage.

You can actually fit the three medium size suitcase in it and the suitcase comes with the gemera because they have designed them to get fit into the trunk.

In addition to this, under the front, there is a space left for one suitcase for the fourth passenger.

How do Koenigsegg Gemera doors open?

Actually, the company has provided door-opening buttons on the key fab. tailgate and bonnet can also be opened by this key fab.

As you press the buttons door opens automatically first they come out slightly and then rotate at the same time to open as you can see in the images.

Another cool thing is when the door opens the front and rear passengers can move inside the car simultaneously without moving and sliding the seats amazing.

An important thing is Koenigsegg said these doors are huge and can hit your garage ceiling at the time of opening so the production model will get sensors on the door to prevent clashes.

What about the seating comfort of Koenigsegg gemera?

Well, as I said this car is designed to accommodate four adults with their luggage so it’s pretty easy to go get inside the car because there is no B-Pillar in the monocoque.

And when the door opens it leaves so much space that you don’t face any problem as I have shown in the images adults of height more than 6 feet can sit without any problem.

Now, I would like to tell you some unique techniques of the Koenigsegg gemera. actually, all four seats are made up of carbon fiber in a single-piece construction.

And memory foam is attached to the various part of the seats to keep you comfortable & the unique thing is the seat itself is thin & exposed carbon making it look more stylish and sporty.

Another unique thing is that there is no B-pillar present in the car so where you bolt the seat belt mechanism. so the company has added the seat belt mechanism with the seat itself as you can see in the images.

Speaking about the interiors and dashboard, gemera is the only car with a levitating 360 ball–shaped camera placed above the dashboard & that keeps rotating due to a magnetic field.

Besides this, the entire dashboard, steering wheel & center tunnel of the monocoque is made of carbon fiber to keep the weight minimum & yellow color Alcantara leather is used to wrap the interior in the concept gemera.

But the production model could be of different colors & Koenigsegg has added ambient lights inside the car that looks really attractive & separate reading light is provided on each side of the seats.

Know the unique thing about the Gemera TC1 interior is that just like other supercars Gemera doesnt have buttons to control the features of the car.

So you might be thinking then how can we control the other interior features of the car well, there is a large touch screen is provided on the dashboard & at the rear that used to control the entire features of the car.

For example, if you want to adjust the seats that clicking an icon of a seat on the screen then with the help of a touch icon you can control the seat position.

Similarly, If you want to control the Air conditioning function again there is an icon on the screen that helps to control the A.C. Beside this doors, hood & trunk can be opened via the touch screen function as shown in the images.

Steering system & Instrument cluster

In the Koenigsegg gemera which is similar to Koenigsegg Jesko that the steering wheel and the instrument cluster/speedometer are attached to the steering.

That means when you rotate the wheel digital speedometer also rotates and also on the place of buttons small touch screen is provided to control some features.

So to know it’s all about the interiors of Gemera I will mention some more detail about when the Gemera TC1 production car will come out.

When Koenigsegg one:1 was launched they were developing the world’s first camless or free valve engine and this engine can run on Gen 2.0 ethanol or CO2 neutral methanol like Vulcanol & driven on E85 and in the worst case normal petrol.

But here in India, we can easily get normal petrol and most people going to buy gemera and 95 octane petrol is only available in the selected cities of India.

Mid-mounted Koenigsegg ICE + e-motor Hydracoup Direct drive

The Koenigsegg gemera engine is one of the technologically advanced engines. the total output of the drive train of this car is 1700 bhp or 1.27 MW.

Let me tell you why Koenigsegg gemera is so much power full. this car has a small 3-cylinder mounted at the rear of the car with an electric motor at the crankshaft of 400 hp and the engine alone is developing 600 horsepower.

This single electric motor is mounted on the crankshaft and it acts as a starter motor to start the engine after starting the engine it acts as an alternator os some time powers the engine.

Besides this, a torque tube driveshaft connects the front axle with the help of a hydracoup. A hydracoupe is non rather than an advanced torque converter that helps to deliver power without any interruption.

One more exciting thing is just like Koenigsegg Regera it doesn’t have any transmission and the reverse is fully electric. and not having a gearbox means less weight and fewer power losses.

As we know that the engine is connected to the front wheel only and for the rear wheels there are two motors placed on each rear wheel and it’s not connected to the engine. the total output of rear motors is 500 hp.

And batteries are placed on the floor & you can charge them with a plug or when the engine is running it will also charge the batteries.
