• The Nissan GTR is a high-performance sports car & tourer produced by Nissan in Japan.
• Apart from that, it is the successor to Skyline GTR’s very famous sports car.
• On the other hand, I will mention the Price, Features, Colors & specifications of the Nissan GTR.

Nissan GTR R35 Exterior Design

• The first time I saw Nissan GTR at the 2012 Auto Expo & the second time at the 2016 Auto expo.
• I was really excited to see this high-performance Japanese Nissan GTR R34.
• But in 2017 the design was changed from front & to rear.
• Now 2021 Nissan GTR R35 is here with its all-new features & technology.

• So starting from the front we have a newly designed bumper with a large grille opening.
• That allows more cooling air come inside to cool the radiators for extra performance.
• Whereas redesigned front fascia helps direct air around the front wheel wells to reduce drag.
• The Hood is reshaped it’s longer with reshaped scoops to increase airflow to the engine compartment.

• If you observe closely you will find these scoops look the same as the Godzilla nostrils.
• In addition, this hood is reinforced to retain shape at high speeds & increase downforce.
• Moving onto the side sill is redesigned to prevent air from being drawn under the vehicle.

• To enhance crosswind stability & increase downforce during high speed.
• Another major change can be found on C-Pillar it’s lengthened to prevent vortex.
• Moving on to the rear bumper lip helps to reduce the drag at the end of the vehicle to help the exhaust run cooler.

• Apart from that rear diffuser helps accelerate air underneath & away from GTR.
• To increase the downforce .rear diffuser tray is made up of carbon fiber.

Led Headlights & taillights

• These lights were developed exclusively for GT-R the new headlights feature four LED units.
• And headlight also has Day Time Running lights that look cool.
• Below the headlights, you will get LED strips for good visibility.
• On the rear, you will get Led taillights in iconic rounded shapes that look cool.

0.26 Coefficient of Drag (cd)

• With a canard-shaped lip on the front fascia, a re-shaped C-Pillar.
• An extension on the lower rear bumper helps GTR slice through the air.

160 kg Aerodynamic Downforce

• A redesigned front spoiler reinforced hood & reshapes Side Sills.
• Increases downforce at high speed as a result you get good handling & grip on the road.

Nissan GTR Dimensions.

• Now an important thing can this car drive over bad roads.
• The answer is yes but you need to be careful because Nissan GTR’s ground clearance is 110 mm which is low.

• The thing I don’t like about this car is its interior which looks dated as compared to another supercar.
• Like Ferrari 812 superfast, Ferrari 812 GTS and Ferrari Roma V8.
• But the interior of Nissan GTR is spacious and you would not feel cramped.

• Everything inside the GT-R is completely wrapped in leather with six optional interior
• Black Leather, Black Samurai semi-aniline leather prestige, Black/Ivory Leather.
• Black/tan leather, Black/red leather and black leather with red inserts.
• Steering is fully wrapped in leather with GT-R badging on it with audio/cruise controls.

• The nice thing about the Nissan GT-R is it has an Analog speedometer with a small digital display.
• Apart from that behind the steering wheel, you will get Paddle shifters and Wiper/Lights controls.
• Moving on to comfort features you will get dual-zone climate control with jet-inspired air vents.

• Nissan GTR R35 comes with an 8” multi-touch screen that shows various information about the car.
• This 8” touch screen is also controlled by a display commander that is a rotary knob.
• Below the A.C controls, you will get a mode dynamic system that gives you three modes.

• That is transmission, suspension & VDC stability control. AWD control switches are also there.
• And center console on the manual parking lever and around two cup holders get a carbon fiber finish.
• Another convenience feature is you will get 2 power windows and electric adjustable/foldable ORVMs.

• Talking about seats they are electronically adjustable & second-row seats are fixed.
• But rear seats are best suited to kids only and due to the coupe-like design headroom is really low on the rear.

Performance (Mileage/Top Speed)

• Nissan GTR is powered by a VR38 V6 3.8 L Twin-turbo engine mated with a Dual Clutch 6-speed Gearbox.
• That Produces 570 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. It has a fuel injection system.
• Nissan has introduced some groundbreaking technology to the GTR engine to make it more powerful.
• It has a Continuously Variable Valve timing control system on the intake valve.

• Secondly, it had an aluminium cylinder block with high-endurance/low-friction plasma-sprayed bores.
• Aluminum pistons are used in the engine & Nissan is using iridium-Tipped spark plugs for better combustion.
• A high-performance engine needs a good lubrication system so Nissan has featured a Dry Sump lube system.
• The nice thing about this car is it has an independent rear AWD transaxle.

• This means the gearbox is mounted on the rear so the engine and gearbox are connected by a carbon-fiber driveshaft.
• Power is supplied to the rear wheel by to transaxles.
• But there is another shaft that is attached to the gearbox and sends power to the front wheels.

• Now Nissan GTR mileage is 8.13 kmpl which is ARAI Certified fuel efficiency.
• Nissan GTR gives 20 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.
• Apart from that Nissan GTR’s top speed of 312 km/h.

• That’s Katsura Orange, Vibrant Red, Pearl Blue, Gun Metallic, Pearl Black, Pearl White & Ultimate Silver.

• I like Red and Orange the most of the six colours.

My Opinion

• Nissan GTR’s price in India is ₹ 2,12,40,272/- crore & at this price, GTR is offering nice features.
• The Nissan GTR engine is so that reliable you can tune this engine up to 1300 horsepower.
• The design is aggressive & the performance is mind-blowing and it’s an everyday useable car.
• I will definitely buy this car but the major issue with this car is its ground clearance
• But it’s ok and Nissan is offering a couple of accessories to make the car more reliable.
• Nissan GTR R34, Nissan GTR R35 & Nissan GTR Skyline are serious performance cars.
